Privacy Policy

People Agents is an AI-powered company management platform built by Purview Services. When we say “People Agents”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy, we mean Purview Services and the People Agents product.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, book a demo, or use People Agents as part of your company's account.

For data your company adds to People Agents, such as employee, customer and finance records, your company is the controller and decides how that data is used. We act as a processor and follow your company's instructions under our agreement with them.

For data we collect for our own purposes, such as website visits and demo requests, we are the controller.

Information you give us

• Your name, work email, phone number, company name and team size when you book a demo or contact us.
• Account details such as your name, role and sign-in email when your company invites you.
• Anything you type into People Agents, such as requests to an agent, comments and approvals.

Information from your company's systems

• People data: profile, team, manager, attendance, leave, payroll and performance records.
• Business data: customers, deals, invoices, transactions, projects, vendors and support tickets.
• Data from tools your company connects, such as CRM, accounting, email and chat.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and the time of each visit.
• Sign-in events and actions taken in the product, recorded in your company's audit log.

• To provide People Agents and the agents your company has turned on.
• To let agents prepare work, such as follow-ups, reconciliations and approvals, for a person to review.
• To send service messages, such as approval requests, payslips and security alerts.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
• To improve the product using usage statistics that do not identify you.
• To reply to demo requests and, if you agree, send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Agents work only with the records the signed-in person is allowed to see under their role. Every answer links back to the record it came from, so it can be checked.

Actions that matter, such as payments, approvals and messages to customers, wait for a person to confirm them. We do not use your company's data to train AI models shared with other customers.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers who help us run People Agents, such as cloud hosting, email delivery and payment processing, under contracts that require them to protect it.
• Your company, which can see data about its own users as its plan and roles allow.
• Legal reasons, when the law requires it. We tell your company first unless we are not allowed to.
• Business changes, such as a merger, where the new owner must keep this policy.

Data is stored in secure data centres in India. If a service provider handles data outside India, we use contracts and safeguards required by law to protect it.

We keep data while your company's account is active. After the account closes, we delete it within 90 days, except records we must keep by law, such as tax and payroll records. Demo requests are deleted after 24 months if no account is created.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by role, and every change is logged. Read more on our Security page.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your data, where the law allows.
• Withdraw consent you gave, for example for marketing emails.
• Nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to.
• Raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

If your company added your data, we may pass your request to them, since they decide how it is used.

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember settings such as dark mode. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the product may stop working.

People Agents is a business product and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and tell company admins by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
